I accessed this area via the Edwards Tract off of Sagamore Road in Parsippany. This is a nice wooded wetlands parcel in which to look for wildlife.

A 10 stop neutral density filter exaggerated the water motion in this photograph to the tune of 30 seconds. 10 stop neutral density filters are available for all interchangeable lenses and can often be purchased for $30 on Amazon if you shop around.

Taken on a rainy morning about 5 years ago, it seemed that this small snake was out hunting insects.

A small gap in the clouds allowed a sliver of light to strike distant cattails.

POWWW’s 2019 Spring Wildflower Walk

POWWW‘s Annual Wildflower Walk was well attended yesterday with 23 attendees. We saw a good number of native plants and also observed migrant birds moving through Jonathan’s Woods.
