My goal for this image was include the context of the foreground pine needles, the midground of the water, and background detail including both the treeline as well as the sky. That is a lot of elements to aline for one shot!

A view of the flooded beaver pond aka Robert’s Pond at the Ballenger Creek Habitat Enhancement Site off of Route 9. The last time I walked the area the water levels were minimal. I was quite happy to see significant levels of water retention at this quiet natural area.
