It was all fun and games until a large dark cloud came overhead and the wind picked up.

Treefrogs are usually difficult to find if you are looking for them. Finding this frog was purely accidental and my purpose of the photograph was to show the frog’s habitat.

Wildcat Ridge Wildlife Management Area, Rockaway Township, New Jersey

Located off of the far end of Upper Hibernia Road, parts of the pond’s shore line are composed of big piles of rock tailings from former mining operations. The local water snake community takes full advantage of the rocks.
