The best weather for landscape photography is nearly always scattered clouds and yesterday was no exception. I left my house amid the dark predawn hours in hopes of “striking gold” with a vivid morning sky and ended up getting rewarded.

The Stateline Lookout Area located on the Palisades Interstate Parkway is a nice roadside attraction to view these impressive cliffs. I also recommend a stop inside the Stateline Lookout Cafe.
